Trump to Address Blockworks DAS 2025
Nasdaq also reported that Trump will deliver a speech at the important crypto event today, via a recording. This is not the first time when a US President addresses a crypto event, considering that Trump also spoke at the Bitcoin Nashville Conference last year.
The DAS lineup today also includes important names in the crypto industry including Michael Saylor who will deliver a keynote speech and host a fireside chat with Bitcoin historian Pete Rizzo, according to official notes published by Nasdaq.
Other important names who will be attending the event include the following:
- Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart
- Blackrock’s Head of Digital Assets Robbie Mitchnick
- Nasdaq’s Head of US Equities and ETPs Giang Bui
Participants at the event will address the evolving crypto landscape of Bitcoin ETFs and institutional adoption.
The US Will Buy as Much Bitcoin as Possible
The announcement comes after the Executive Director on Digital Assets for Trump, Bo Hines’ remarks who spoke earlier at DAS, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to accumulating BTC for the SBR.
He reportedly said that it’s time for the US President to start accumulating assets for the American people and Trump is already doing that.
He also highlighted that the current administration’s approach to buying more BTC is in “budget-neutral” ways, likening the BTC accumulation to gold reserves and saying they want as much as they can get.
Trump’s speech at today’s crypto summit will come as Congressman Tom Emmer said that he believes the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill – The BITCOIN Act- will pass in the US.
If this is approved, the country will buy 200,000 BTC per year for five years.
Bitcoin continued its ascendant trajectory today, surging by over 3%, fueled by optimism about the upcoming Trump speech and the prospects of codifying his Executive Order regarding a US SBR into law soon.

Bitcoin debuted an ascendant trajectory on March 19, following the FOMC meeting and the upcoming end of the Ukraine-Russia war.
